The Ultimate guide to removing Permanent Marker Stains

Recently at Buyokrika HQ, We had a situation where our logistics partner wrote a tracking number with a permanent marker on a dustbag which a bag was wrapped in, the marker did leave quite a few imprints on the bag.

Unfortunately for us the customer received the bag like that , While a replacement was done for her, we did sendup doing a lot of research then trial and error but we were able to find a solution to it and realized many persons would benefit from these tips especially parents who have toddlers
the following can be used
  • Rubbing alcohol
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Aerosol hairspray
  • Nail polish remover
  • White vinegar
  • Cream of tartar
  • Lemon juice
  • Regular toothpaste (not gel)

Dab a bit your stain remover of choice onto the marker stain using a washcloth. (Dabbing at the stain is important, because rubbing can force the stain deeper into the fibers.) Add more stain remover as necessary, and continue dabbing until the stain disappears…

A Vendor advised using Kerosene and Omo stating that she uses it all the time and swears by it , we haven’t tried this if you have let us know if it works
